The .gg extension is the country code top level domain for Guernsey, and this domain is sponsored and administrated by Island Networks. Institutions, individuals and companies that are connected with Guernsey are allowed to register a .gg domain. The process of registering a .gg domain name does not involve many extensive restrictions. No one is prohibited from registering a lawful domain, provided that it is available and not on the list of reserved words. One important caveat is that regional domain names are not allowed.
